Ich hatte vor langer Zeit einmal gelesen (oder gehört)*, daß Künstler immer ein bißchen verrückt seien. So klammerte ich diesen Lebensweg für mich ursprünglich eigentlich aus...

Avevo ripresa in Italia a dedicarmi della pittura. Sarà stata la dolce vita a ispirarmi? Le storie del tempo sicuramente mi davano "stoffa" e modo a creare i miei lavori, quasi senza luce naturale nella piccola casa in una cascina del 16° secolo.
Cercherò di svelare col tempo delle storie dietro l'una o l'altra mia opera. Cominciandone con due, diversi nello stile, ma non nella origine.
Art-life. Part of me? I'm not quite a people-person, I always thought. But maybe I'll risk to be mistaken (by myself?). Sure, sometimes (always) i prefer the quiet of nature instead of the pulsing life of a big city – could Milan count as one?
Will be a matter of perspective maybe. So, I'm in my quite background-yard, waiting for a miracle – or better: contemplating on the wonders of life.

This work is based on a foto by Oliver Weiken (i suppose), taken after the bombing of an UN Nations School in Gaza in july 2014. It shows an palestine girl who was injured in the bomb blast. Not to sell.

Questo quadro si basa sulla foto di Oliver Weiken, ritratta una giovane ragazza che è stata colpita durante un attacco alla sua scuola in Gaza. Mi aveva colpito il suo sguardo, sentivo di doverla dipingere. Non è da vendere.
"Buona notte" was made based on a newspaperphoto showing how Pope Benedict XVI left the sceen after he has hold his last speech to the crowd. In the right corner there's a quote of his words "ora sono soltanto un pellegrino".
"Buona notte", ist im Laufe von 2013/2014 entstanden. Als Vorbild diente ein Zeitungsfoto des Corriere della Sera und zeigt den letzten Moment des Papst Benedikt XVI. Angedeutet oben rechts liest sich eines seiner letzten Zitate: "ora sono soltanto un pellegrino (...)". Das grossformatige Bild (100 x 140 cm) ist mit Acrylfarben gemalt.
